Hi Kathy!

I'm honored that you have commented on my blog.
I love your blog 'creating passionate users'. It has been inspirational to me. I hope you can return to posting there. The reasons that lead you to stop really upset me back then :(

Back to harriers...
I had actually seen that photo on your site before and thought it looked a lot like a harrier :)

You are right, they aren't very loyal... and will make a run for it if they get a chance, but they make great house dogs despite their size and as you say, are very entertaining :)

Our harrier, 'atari' is great at balancing objects on his head for example:
http://skitch.com/jemgirl/b2gr/atari-and-a-glass

Even wears wigs:
http://skitch.com/jemgirl/r8ng/doggies

He is a very content doggy:
http://skitch.com/jemgirl/m8d3/atari-yawning-with-contentment

And he loves hugs :)

The photo I originally posted in the blog post was used on the cover art of our 'Comic Life' box too. He is semi famous now :)

I know I'm more than a year late, but I just found this photo on an image search for Harrier. Wow -- what an adorable photo. My Harrier just turned 10 and is still the most... entertaining dog I've ever known. She lives by her own rules, and will never be as loyal as a lab, but she reminds me everyday of what it means to love life.

I've always thought I'd never get another Harrier, but as she's getting older I find myself unable to resist looking at Harrier puppy photos. There are so few breeders in the US, though. Not even sure if I *could* get another. Hopefully I won't have to think about that for a while. She's still quite healthy, although a little slower.

Cris

Thanks for the http://LetterPop.com call out. Just a heads up, we're going to launch a new version of the site in a few weeks that should greatly improve everything.

Best, Dave

Lots of great resources there, too.

Great list, Cris. I'll add one,

begin self plug:
I needed something to easily create invoices from the time I was logging in Basecamp. Nothing fit my needs so I created Simply Invoices (http://www.simplyinvoices.com). Might be of use to someone reading this :)

atari boy, I have been following your tweets with great interest and delight.

I requested invite to Skitch today. I use Paint Shop Pro 7 right now. You said you are drinking a celebratory beer: Leinenkugle Sunset Wheat. That is what I bought tonight, hours ago, before I read your recent tweet.

Yo Colin!

I started taking notes in my personal note app, but quickly thought I should blog it anyway, so I switched and took notes during sessions directly into Marsedit, then cleaned them up and posted a few days later.
