That cute dog you see on plasq.com, the Comic Life box and now, the Skitch icon is my Dog. He is a Harrier Hound named atari. They look like a bigger yet younger looking Beagle.
He turned 8 on March 1st – w00f.
He is cute.

Awwwwww, happy birthday Atari! Funny, I always thought he was a beagle. Nevertheless, he’s one fine looking hound! And I’m sure he has a lovely personality too!
He said ‘arrooph!’
That means thanks
Hey gorgeous Atari. He has an amazing personality and he sure loves food and cuddles. Happy Birthday Atari and your doggie friend Jemima says ‘ruff ruf Rari’
I know I’m more than a year late, but I just found this photo on an image search for Harrier. Wow—what an adorable photo. My Harrier just turned 10 and is still the most… entertaining dog I’ve ever known. She lives by her own rules, and will never be as loyal as a lab, but she reminds me everyday of what it means to love life.
I’ve always thought I’d never get another Harrier, but as she’s getting older I find myself unable to resist looking at Harrier puppy photos. There are so few breeders in the US, though. Not even sure if I could get another. Hopefully I won’t have to think about that for a while. She’s still quite healthy, although a little slower.

Hi Kathy!
I’m honored that you have commented on my blog.
I love your blog ‘creating passionate users’. It has been inspirational to me. I hope you can return to posting there. The reasons that lead you to stop really upset me back then
Back to harriers…
I had actually seen that photo on your site before and thought it looked a lot like a harrier
You are right, they aren’t very loyal… and will make a run for it if they get a chance, but they make great house dogs despite their size and as you say, are very entertaining
Our harrier, ‘atari’ is great at balancing objects on his head for example:

Even wears wigs:

He is a very content doggy:

And he loves hugs
The photo I originally posted in the blog post was used on the cover art of our ‘Comic Life’ box too. He is semi famous now
