Just an aside thought – del.icio.us and other social bookmarking sites should add a way to state where you found a link. This would allow some interesting possibilities such as direction analytics of a URL and how news sites influence social networks. Maybe bookmarking sites other than del.icio.us do offer this? I’ve really only played with del.icio.us since I started using it sept 16, 2004 (Yes, I had to look that up).
On del.icio.us, I’ve been doing this (when i remember / can be bothered) in the same manner as you can send a bookmark to someone in your del.icio.us network—a tag like so: via:techcrunch.com
