We, plasq, just released Rax 2.0.
This is the work of a crazy near sleepless month and a half of start-to-release work from Adrian, Airy, Bryce, Robert, Keith and I. Mark did a great job on the website.
It is designed for the musician that plays on stage with their laptop and a MIDI keyboard. It also has some really hot support for VJ output via use of Quartz Composer.
My contribution was the UI work for OnStage and the new mixer/library UI. Both these where designed to be high contrast for use on a stage where the lighting is bad (think crazy bright coloured lights all over your screen). I also did some 2d artwork for the Bundled Visualisers that Keith brought to life.
It’s a big update that takes it in quite a different direction. Check it out.
