- Blogging as Personal Knowledge management? Stephen has a good post about this on his blog that resonated with current thoughts of mine. A problem I have though is if I think about making a post, I feel I need to spend a lot of time making it a well rounded article. Stating something is fine but I instantly think of all the arguments ‘for and against’ and become overwhelmed. Perhaps a issue of confidence combined with laziness on my behalf. I need to be more lucid on here. I end up just sending quick emails to my pal Keith(songcarver) instead. We know how each other work so there isn’t that pressure.
Doing NEIS training (a small business program ran by the Australian Government) Almost finished now – just gotta finish final bits of the Business plan.
Got Treo 180 cheap (100 bucks or so) on ebay. LOVE it. I had a palm before but is was less than optimal (kept losing its memory when it got even the slightest bump. forget keeping it in your pocket!) Plus I didn’t want to carry a phone and a PDA around. The Treo range have really got the PDA/Phone thing right. Competitors are coming along now though.
Fun projects with songcarver on being developed
More fun on the horizon with projects for Robert Grant and Urs Heckmann
My brother and girlfriend came to visit recently. they stayed a few days. Was really nice having them.
I will be going over to tassie in a couple of weeks for my Mums Birthday
Started using bloglines instead of NetNewsWire. This seems to be a common occurrence at the moment (people going to bloglines from their desktop app aggregators). Will be able to add better blogroll to my blog easily with this.
Started using del.icio.us for my bookmarking. Everyone should use this
See my bookmarks here. Something else to integrate into my blog.
This is what happens when I don’t have enough sleep and my mum asks me to post photos of her dance group
I did some more gigs at Kent St Cafe
Moved songcarvers site from his .mac account to the same server I use. Thanks Øvind
Tell anyone you know to use firefox as their web browser! Internet Explorer is buggy, insecure and lacks many modern features.
