well, its been a while so here is a wrap up of a rather busy month.
mind the lack of correctness in spelling/grammer/capitlisation/punctuation. i am doing this as quick as possible
gotta keep packing boxes… why?... well…
found a new house to move in to. its a nice 2 story place near (approx 4-5 mins walk) a train station and on a quiet street. where we are currently is smack bang next to a high way and a busy road. this = noise+++. also, this house is getting too small for all our stuff and us. we move on the 12th july (this coming saturday).
we bought a bunch of tools. electric drill, drill bits, builders horse..
was my sisters birthday on the 27th june.
dan, a friend who i first knew in tassie but also lives here in melbourne as well… uh. yeah. it was his birthday on the 5th.
my girlfriends on the 8th july. went for a nice drive and i baked her a cake
somewhere in there we also bought a lawn mower (finally!)
karl and pon are staying here as well (leave on the 12th as well) which has been mighty swell!(daggy saying #1)
they are friends from my design course that i did in tassie. fyi, karl is from sweden, pon from laos.
hmm. what else….
made lots of phone calls today changing our address with various services/banks and so on. made arrangements to have our phone and internet disconnected…. couldn’t keep the same phone number that we had here :((( argh! it is such a cool number. sigh we have a pretty boring number arranged for our new house. i am looking for a new ISP now. not reconnecting this current one. 3 gigs download per month? what a load of shit.
oh yeah. we put a bunk bed set (2 beds; 1 on top of the other) and a new microwave on a interest free purchase thingie too.
sounds like we have been buying HEAPS… i guess we have but these are things we have been putting off buying or needs to get them out of necesity.
i am super dooper(daggy saying #2) excited about moving. soooooo sick of the traffic noise here. it has been said moving is one of the most stressfull times of ones life! i don’t believe it. not for me anyway. its fun. ive done it 6 times in the last 5 years
misc. factoid: gauntlet legends on dreamcast is super fun as a multi-player game. so sad the dreamcast died
its a great system. i often see games that look better on that than even new games for the PS2.
i have really been digging pHATmatik Pro latly. awesome and fun to use. if you use samples and VSTi’s or AudioUnits, i suggest you try it out!
