I heard this song on the radio

I heard a song on the radio that I didn’t catch the name of or who it was by. Doh.

Maybe someone can help me find it? :)

It contains a man reading out (note: he paraphrases the book a lot) an anti-war book by Kurt Vonnegut called “Slaughter House-Five”

here is a segment of the book and part that is in the song:
“He came slightly unstuck in time, saw the late movie backwards, then forwards again. It was a movie about American bombers in the Second World War and the gallant men who flew them. Seen backwards by Billy, the story went like this:

American planes, full of holes and wounded men and corpses took up backwards from an airfield in England. Over France, a few German fighter planes flew at them backwards, sucked bullets and shell fragments from some of the planes and crewmen. They did the same for wrecked American bombers on the ground, and those planes flew up backwards to join the formation.”

wouldn’t it be great if this backwards section could be reality.

ok, so someone has made a song, pretty simple and mellow beats and other instruments but I can’t remember what exactly. A man is reading out parts of the book; mostly the backwards section over this music.

if you can tell me what song this is, please leave a comment to this blog.
