Due late April.
Has most of the cool new features from Platinum too which is great! I’m very happy about that.

I will have to order my free update on Monday I wonder how much delay there will be for Australia

I am going to be without logic 6 for a month or so though; the Platinum 6 ‘demo’ I have been using will end soon. doh! hehe. 5.5 is still great though and any song I have done in 6 will work in 5.5. I just can’t use any of the platinum or 6 specific plugins.

some things i noticed missing from audio compared to gold:

• no rex2 support (will still work in EXS24 i guess)


• only 4 band channel EQ


• hide tracks (maybe its just not mentioend? i like this feature from platinum)


• less hardware support

someone mentioned on osxaudio.com here that all versions support rex2. I’ll see. its not something I use much anyway
