Just been playing with Urs Heckmanns new Rumblence:zoyd AudioUnit Instrument synth some more. Playing it directly from my tiBook keyboard using MidiKeys. I have MidiKeys running in the background and use option+shift+keys on the tiBook keyboard to play notes into Logic Audio in which zoyd is running.
Its early days for Zoyd yet, but it sounds great already and its only going to get better Urs assures me.
Currently, its monophonic which is fine for some styles and I find it actually works in quite well with triggering from a velocity-less input like my tiBook keyboard.
The non-free version of zoyd will be Polyphonic. This will come later after zoyd has been more optimised.
I am working on some more presets for zoyd at the moment. Expect these + the 2 I had made for the first release but didn’t make it in due to technical problems.
