Announced just 15 mins ago, Shane Warne has been found guilty and given a 12 month suspension from any competitive cricket playing due to his use of a diarrhetic. My brother made a blog post about this case last week.
12 months is less than most sports would give for this kind of ruling. Cricket has [...]
I love my Opa. For those who don’t know, he passed away about 2 years ago, but of course I still love him.
He still pops up in dreams. One time I was actually speaking to him about things I would still like to talk to him about today and telling him I missed him. [...]
Just walked down to my local bakery in the rain to grab some fresh bread. The smell in the air was amazing. Not from the bakery, but everywhere due to the rain and the Australian Gum trees around here.
Makes me want to live in the bush. Also makes me miss Tasmania a bit; One [...]
Where have I been? Our cable TV company gave us 3 free days of the movie channels so I spent lots (too much?) of time watching movies and then I continued watching lots of documentaries and more movies on SBS.
When I wasn’t watching TV, I was doing lots of cooking trying new things; due to [...]
Found a really neat picture viewer, Outlaw. You can browse you whole hard drive using only the cursor keys and displaying any pictures it comes across as you pass over them. Very clean and intuitive.

For those who don’t ‘get it’, Telstra is Australia’s biggest telecommunications provider and Alston is “Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts
Deputy Leader of the Government in the [...]
Konfabulator is out! certainly has a LOT of promise. Both for usability and just generally adding cool and nice things to your computer. It is built to be extensible so it can be made to do pretty much anything!
The most of the supplied widgets are a bit overly simplistic for my liking so far but [...]

Well, I had a great time at the Melbourne International Music and Blues Festival. Better than I thought I would.
I even enjoyed Vika and Lindas Gospel singing. They have great voices; seeing them live made the difference.
Jerome Smith & the End (now called Ronimo?) had an awesome sound. Great players
Chris Wilson and his band [...]
